We’re speaking in the **Data & Digital Theatre** at [Let's Recycle Live](https://blog.proximitywarning.com/productivity-behaviour-change-at-lets-recycle-live-2022) **on 15 September at 2pm** about our latest product development that’s also been shortlisted for the Excellence in Innovation Awards at the event. 

By combining data with visual evidence in our speaker session we’ll explore how we can use technology to investigate near misses, enhance training, report back to management teams on performance, and make lasting site safety improvements. We’ll also be joining a panel discussion after our presentation.

The key part of managing people plant interface is the people. Behavioural change and training is as important as the technology used. We worked with [SUEZ ](https://www.suez.co.uk/en-gb)to develop and trial a new technology using a ‘snapshot’ camera that integrates with our SiteZone proximity warning system to provide a visual level of evidence of interaction between people and plant. When someone wearing a tag breaches a detection zone the camera sends a snapshot from before and after the incident to the cloud. This enables you to review the footage for analysis of how the zone breach occurred.

The benefits of having this visual level of evidence alongside the data is:

- Understanding the root cause can help prevent future interaction between people and plant
- Identify training needs
- Incident investigation and reporting
- Improve behaviours amongst workforce
