Proving our commitment to Cyber Safety, SiteZone has gained the Government-backed Cyber Essentials Plus Certification.

What is it and why should it matter to you?

Cyber Essentials is a government backed scheme that helps to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates our commitment to cyber security. The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) recommends Cyber Essentials as the minimum standard of cyber security for all organisations.

We all hold data, and it’s become an important part of what we do as a safety company. So we wanted our customers to be assured we hold their data safely. We started by gaining the Cyber Essentials certification which is self certified, but we wanted to go further and get externally assessed to achieve the Cyber Essentials Plus. This accreditation shows you we take cyber security seriously and have systems in place in our infrastructure to protect against cyber threats, including multi-factor authentications, strict admin polices, and much more.

Gary Escott, Managing Director of SiteZone Safety said,

“Working with large corporations in the waste and recycling sector, many of these accreditations are a standard requirement. But it’s not just about gaining the accreditation, it’s the commitment to go above and beyond.

After 15 years of running SiteZone Safety, we’ve seen the importance of data grow and grow and with that the security risks are growing too. We have a dedicated member of the team to data, as well as adhering to the security, they can help our customers use this data to make real lasting impact to site safety.”

When you come to us, you’re working with an experienced and responsible safety company.
