The SiteZone team from head office in Ferndown, Dorset took part in the Great British Spring Clean yesterday [1 April 2025].
The national initiative has been running for 10 years and aims to encourage people to ‘love where they live’ and pledge to pick up a bag of litter.
In just under an hour at the local King George V Playing Fields in Ferndown the team picked up 3 bags of rubbish.

This adds to the total of 430,000 bags pledged so far in the campaign run by Keep Britain Tidy.
And what were the weirdest items we found? A fork, spoon, pair of socks, and Ibuprofen gel!
The campaign runs until 6 April so there’s still time for you to get involved. And we’re hoping to make this a regular thing to help keep our local community clean and tidy.
