VIDA bioenergy Glentham EFW strengthens safety with SiteZone Safety

At VIDA bioenergy, safety is a top priority, and they continually invest in measures that enhance workplace safety. As part of this commitment, they recently implemented the SiteZone system for mobile plant operations at their Glentham site.

The SiteZone proximity alert system provides an audible warning when pedestrians are in close proximity to their telehandlers ensuring heightened awareness and reinforcing safe working practices. The recently installed SiteZone system aligns perfectly with VIDA Bioenergy’s goal of zero incidents, offering a proactive and effective safety solution with no impact on operations. Building on the successful implementation at Glentham, VIDA Bioenergy plans to expand the use of SiteZone to additional locations, ensuring that their high safety standards are consistently maintained across all our operations.

Lars Boetje, CEO of VIDA bioenergy commented:

“The safety of our team is always our top priority, and the implementation of the SiteZone system reinforces our commitment to proactive risk management. This technology not only enhances awareness but also provides valuable data to continuously improve our safety practices. By integrating this system, we are taking another important step toward achieving a zero-incident workplace.”

Beyond real-time alerts, SiteZone also offers telemetry and data tracking, allowing us to monitor safety trends and proactively improve control measures based upon leading indicators. This insight supports our commitment to continuous safety enhancements."

With this latest step, VIDA bioenergy reaffirms its dedication to creating a safer, more secure working environment for all.
