SiteZone gets two certifications this month – the renewal of Safe Contractor and achievement of Cyber Essentials.

It can be difficult to choose a supplier and know they’re living up to their promises. But with our external accreditations you can be assured our health and safety processes are up to date and adhered to and that we’re operating correctly behind the scenes to keep data secure.

That’s why we’re pleased to get two certifications this month –renewal of Safe Contractor and achievement of Cyber Essentials.

What are they and why should they matter to you?

SiteZone have been Safe Contractor accredited for several years. It proves that our health and safety processes are up-to-date and compliant with the latest legislation and HSE guidance. A rigorous accreditation process checks our RAMS, ensures we regularly include Health and Safety as part of our internal and client meetings, and checks that our engineers are up to date with their qualifications. All this gives you peace of mind.

Cyber Essentials is a government backed scheme that helps to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates our commitment to cyber security. We all hold data, and it’s become an important part of what we do as a safety company. This accreditation shows you we take cyber security seriously and have systems in place in our infrastructure to protect against cyber threats, including multi-factor authentications, strict admin polices, and much more. We’re also now working towards Cyber Essentials Plus.

Gary Escott, Managing Director of SiteZone Safety said,

“Working with large corporations in the waste and recycling sector, many of these accreditations are a standard requirement. But it’s not just about gaining the accreditation, it’s the commitment to go above and beyond. Our engineers are empowered to only work in safe environments, and to report anything they see on-site that is deemed to be unsafe.

After 12 years of running SiteZone Safety, we’ve seen the importance of data grow and grow and with that the security risks are growing too. We have a dedicated member of the team to data, as well as adhering to the security, they can help our customers use this data to make real lasting impact to site safety.”

When you come to us, you’re assured you are working with an experienced and responsible safety company.
